Potten End Village in Hertffordshire held its fifth annual steam exhibition this year, so I decided to have a look and take some photos of the event. Taking photographs of steam engines is more challenging than you would think. Do you take images of the whole engine, shots from different angles, moving or long shots?. Well I opted for the ‘part of the steam engine’ approach as we have all seen steam engines and taking just part of these great beasts made the whole experience more exiting.
